An innocuous prayer is made by the petitioner-Trust seeking a direction to decide the revision petition filed by it under Section 32 of the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010 (for short, "the aforesaid Act"). The aforesaid revision petition is at record page No.65 (Annexure-X). 3.

The contention is that the respondent authorities, vide order dated 30th October, 2025, rejected the fresh registration application submitted by the petitioner-Trust under Sections 12(2) and 12(4)(vii), read with Rule 12(6) of the aforesaid Act. Being aggrieved by such rejection, the petitioner immediately approached respondent No.1 - Union of India by filing a revision petition under Section 32 of the aforesaid Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the said revision petition is pending since 14th November, 2025 and is not yet decided. In view thereof, the petitioner has approached this Court.

Ms. Mugdha Chandurkar, learned counsel appearing for the respondents, submits that the aforesaid revision petition shall be decided within a stipulated period, on its own merits and in accordance with law.

In view of the above, we dispose of the present writ petition with a direction to respondent No.1 - Union of India to decide the aforesaid revision petition, which is at record page No.65 (Annexure-X), within a period of eight weeks from the date of production of this order.

The decision taken thereupon shall be communicated to the petitioner within two weeks from the date of such decision. 7.
