Rule. Rule made returnable forthwith. Heard finally with the consent of parties.

The petitioner has approached this Court seeking

J-wp3680.26.odt 2/2 direction to direct the respondent Scrutiny Committee, Amravati to decide the caste claim of the petitioner expeditiously and in a particular time frame. The petitioner being the student and having caste certificate and validity certificate applied through her College on 15.10.2024. The proposal was received by the Committee on 18th November, 2024, the fact which can be ascertained from the acknowledgment placed by the petitioner on record. It is submission of the petitioner that the proposal still pends and the petitioner being a student is being put to inconvenience due to the pendency of the proposal since her ongoing education can be in peril at any time.

In that view of the matter, we dispose of the petition with direction to the Scrutiny Committee to decide the proposal of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible within two months. 6.

The petitioner to appear before the Scrutiny Committee, Amravati and make appraise said Committee of the order of this Court on 5th May, 2026.
