After arguing the matter for some time, when this Court expressed disinclination to grant any relief, learned Advocate for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the instant petition with liberty to take appropriate steps for obtaining an interim relief to stay the judgment and decree passed by the trial court in Small Cause Civil Suit No.17 of 2019.

The petitioner is granted permission to withdraw the instant petition with liberty as prayed for.

However, considering the contentions canvassed on behalf of the petitioner, the possession of the petitioner over the suit property shall not be disturbed for a period of 15 days from today, only for affording opportunity to approach the appellate court for filing an application for stay/injunction.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of as withdrawn.
