Heard Shri. Tejas Deshpande holding for Shri. S. U. Ghude, learned counsel for petitioner.

The petitioner - Management has approached this Court with a grievance that the petitioner - Management had applied to respondent No.1 for grant of permission to start Vision Public School on self finance basis. The aforesaid proposal was submitted on 20.02.2023, which is at record page No.10 (Annexure - B). 3.

Shri. Deshpande, learned counsel for petitioner, submits that in pursuance of the aforesaid proposal, the recommendation was made by respondent No.3 - Deputy Director of Education, Nagpur, which has been approved by respondent No.2 - Director of Education, Pune, on 07.05.2026. Shri. Deshpande, learned counsel, also submits that on 24.07.2023, letter of intent was also issued to petitioner - Management. However, the decision by respondent No.1 on the said proposal dated 20.02.2023 is still awaited.

In view of the above, we dispose of the present writ petition with a direction to respondent No.1 to decide the aforesaid proposal dated 20.02.2023 in accordance with law and on its own

4 WP-4101-2026 merit, within a stipulated period of six weeks from the date of production of order of this Court.

The decision taken thereupon shall be communicated to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of such decision.
