Among the various prayers made before this Court in the present writ petition, one of the prayers, vide prayer clause (v), is for expeditious adjudication of Regular Appeal No. 155 of 2026, which is pending before the learned Debt Recovery Appellate Tribunal, Mumbai, within a stipulated period. 3.
Considering the grievance raised by the petitioners, we dispose of the present writ petition with liberty to the petitioners to move an appropriate application before the learned Debt Recovery Appellate Tribunal, Mumbai, seeking an early hearing of the said appeal on a fixed date. 4.
If such an application is moved by the petitioners, the learned Debt Recovery Appellate Tribunal, Mumbai, shall consider and decide the same in accordance with law and on its own merits within one week from the date of filing of such application.
