Heard Shri Ingole, the learned counsel for the petitioners and Shri D. P. Thakre, the learned Additional Government Pleader for respondent nos. 1 and 2.

According to the learned counsel for the petitioners, the vehicle has been seized by the respondent authorities in contravention of not only statutory rules but also the law laid down by this Court in Writ Petition No. 2623 of 2022.

In view of the law laid down by order dated 03/06/2024 in Writ Petition No. 2623 of 2022, we direct the respondent/authorities to decide the question of release of vehicle by considering the aforesaid proposition of law within three weeks from today. 4.
