Heard Shri Chopde, the learned counsel for the petitioner. 2.

The petitioner has approached this Court for seeking directions to the respondent no.3-Collector, Wardha, to release and pay the outstanding amount of Rs.18,76,517/- to the petitioner towards the work executed by him under the Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana held on 20.09.2024 at Wardha.

Shri Chopde, the learned counsel submits that the work completion certificate is issued to the petitioner and the final bill for the work executed by him has also been approved and the amount is also lying with the respondent no.3-Collector, Wardha. However, since the petitioner has not received the aforesaid outstanding amount against the work executed by him, he has approached this Court. 4.

Perusal of the petition reveals that the petitioner has already approached the respondents and more specifically, the respondent no.3-Collector, Wardha, with similar request for release of payment vide detailed representation dated 10.03.2026, which is at record page No.34-Annexure-E. Shri Chopde, the learned counsel, submits that despite the passage of three months, the aforesaid representation has

123-WP-4635-2026.odt 2 neither been decided nor acted upon by the respondent no.3-Collector, Wardha.

In view of above, we dispose of the present writ petition with a direction to the respondent no.3-Collector, Wardha, to decide the aforesaid representation dated 10.03.2026 within a stipulated period of four weeks from the date of production of order of this Court. Decision taken thereupon, shall be communicated to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of such decision. 6.

Needless to clarify that if the petitioner is found eligible for the aforesaid payment as claimed/requested by the petitioner, the same shall be released by the respondent no.3 within a period of six weeks from the date of decision on the representation. 7.

With these observations and directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
