1. Registry to waive objections and register the matter.

2. This Petition seeks a direction to the Appellate Authority under Section 188 of the Goa Land Revenue Code to entertain the Appeal and pass orders on the interim relief application filed by the Petitioner. Mr. Shivdatt Munj, learned Additional Government Advocate for the Respondent State, on instructions, submits that the application and the Appeal is listed on 02.02.2026 at 3:30PM and will be heard on that date.

3. Learned Advocate, Shri Amonkar, for the Respondent No.2 submits that the Respondent would raise a preliminary objection as to the maintainability of the Appeal in terms of Section 188 of the Act. If such an objection is raised, the Appellate Authority to decide the objection on its own merits.

Mr Amonkar further submits that he would waive service for Respondent No.2-the original applicant, before the Revenue Authority.

4. The Appeal was filed on 28.01.2026. Considering that hardly two days have elapsed, there is no cause for issuing any directions to the Authority, and the Appellate Authority may endeavour to dispose of the Appeal expeditiously.
