This Petition seeks a direction for enforcement of the demolition order dated 17.11.2025 passed by the Goa Coastal Zone Management Authority (GCZMA).

2. It is the position on record that the implementation of the said demolition order has been kept in abeyance solely on the ground that Respondent No. 6 has preferred a review application before the GCZMA.

3. Without entering into the merits of the said review application, and taking note of the contention that the GCZMA otherwise lacks the power to review its own order, we deem it appropriate to direct the GCZMA to proceed with the implementation of the demolition order, particularly in the absence of any appeal having been filed before the 4th May, 2026

1 WP 96 2026 appropriate appellate authority. The order dated 17.11.2025 has, therefore, attained finality.

4. The GCZMA shall decide the review application within a period of one month from today. In the event the review application is dismissed, the GCZMA shall proceed to implement the demolition order within a period of two months thereafter.
