1. Registry to waive office objections and register the matter.
2. This is a Petition seeking directions to the Court of the Civil Judge Senior Division at Mapusa dealing with Special Civil Suit No.14/2012/A, 'A' Court to dispose of the suit expeditiously, considering that the same pertains to the year 2012.
3. From the record, it appears that after the pleadings were complete, issues were framed by the trial Court on 13.12.2018 and though the Plaintiff has filed an affidavit-in-reply, examination-in-chief has not yet been completed. The record also 11th February, 2026
WP 102 of 2026 reveals that in the meantime, an application under Order 7 Rule 11 CPC came to be filed by Defendant No.87 on 19.08.2025 seeking rejection of the plaint, which was argued by the Defendants on 19.10.2025, and the matter has now been set down for hearing the Plaintiff on this application, on 24.02.2026.
4. Considering the number of cases allotted to the Civil Court at Mapusa, this would not be an appropriate case to issue directions to the learned Judge; however, considering that the application for rejection of plaint at Exhibit D-152 of its file is due to be argued by the Plaintiff on 24.02.2026, it would be appropriate for the Civil Court to endeavour to dispose of this application by an Order, preferably by 31.03.2026.
This Petition stands disposed of with the above observations. VALMIKI MENEZES, J.
