Mr Desai, learned Senior counsel on behalf of the Petitioner submits that since elections to the Corporation of the City of Panaji in the meantime were completed and results were declared, the Petitioner has challenged the election to the return candidate in Election Petition bearing No.CA/319/2026/Filing Number before the District Court at Merces.

3. In this view of the matter, the challenge raised in this Petition 30th March, 2026

46 WP 216 2026 would not survive. On instructions, Mr Desai seeks to withdraw this Petition.

4. All contentions of the parties, in light of the affidavit filed, are kept open.
