The Learned Additional Government Advocate appearing for the Respondents submits that the Food & Drugs Administration (FDA), after issuing the Show Cause Notice, has received a reply from the Petitioner and would now issue the Petitioner a notice for a personal hearing. Considering the statement made, the FDA shall, on hearing the Petitioner personally, pass appropriate orders within eight weeks 6th April, 2026

55 WP 227 2026 from today. The order that may be passed by the FDA shall obviously be subject to such remedies as are available under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940. The Petitioner would have such remedies open to it if the order is passed adverse to the interest of the Petitioner. Since nothing further survives in this Petition, we dispose of the same. All contentions raised in this Petition are left open and may be, if taken up by the Petitioner before the Authority, considered during the decision of the matter before the Director of FDA. AMIT S.
