ORDER
1.
By the present petition, the Petitioner is seeking relief to expedite the hearing of the Civil Miscellaneous Application No. 52/2023/A pending before the Civil Judge Senior Division(CJSD) 'A' Court at Mapusa.

It is submitted that the proceedings have been pending since 2023, and in the interest of justice, particularly for the welfare of the child, the proceedings be decided as expeditiously as possible. 3.
The Respondent has no objection to the expedited hearing of the pending application 52/2023.

In view thereof, by consent, the following order is passed: (i) The learned Civil judge, Senior Division, A Court Mapusa, is directed to take up the matter on the Board under the caption "For Directions" within a period of 15 days from today. (ii) On the given date, when the matter appears under the caption "For Directions", the learned Judge shall give directions so that the hearing dates can be conveniently arranged and regulated by the learned Judge as per the convenience of the Court. (iii) The pending application no. 52/2023/A shall be decided within a period of 6 months from today.
(iv) If the Petitioner or Respondent wishes to file any affidavits, documents, compilations, etc., then the same shall be filed within a period of 1 month from today. Thereafter, the learned Magistrate shall not allow the petitioner or respondent to file any pleading, affidavit, documents, compilations, etc.
(v) The parties undertake that the parties shall not seek adjournments in the matter on any ground. The undertaking given by the Petitioner and the Respondent is accepted as an undertaking to this Court. The undertakings are recorded in the presence of the Petitioner and the Respondent in this Court. 5.
With the above directions, the petition is disposed of by consent. No order as to costs.
