Heard Ms. Poulekar, learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner. 2.

By the present petition, the petitioner has sought relief to expedite Matrimonial Proceedings in 53/2024/A pending before the Civil Judge Senior Division 'A' Court, Mapusa.

Today, I have been informed that the matter is listed on 08.06.2026 before the learned Judge for framing of issues in the matter. 4.

The petitioner submits that the Respondent has raised an issue of jurisdiction in the proceedings and that issue ought to be decided in the interest of both parties.

In view of the fact that the matter is listed before the learned Judge for framing of issues, I am not inclined to decide the rival submissions at this stage in the present proceedings. The Petitioner and the Respondent, personally present in Court, agree to the following order by consent. 6.

The learned Judge is directed to frame issues in the matter on 08.06.2026. The Petitioner and the Respondent are personally present in Court and undertake to this Court that they shall not seek any adjournment in the proceedings before the learned Judge on 08.06.2026. The undertaking of the Petitioner and the Respondent is accepted. 7.

The petition is disposed of in the above terms. 8.

No order as to costs.
