DATED : 28.01.2026 The subject writ petition was decided on 29.01.2025, wherein the Caste Scrutiny Committee was directed to decide the caste claim within six months from the date of appearance of the petitioner. The present application is filed seeking extension of time by two months to decide the said claim.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader for the applicant/original respondent No.1 submits that the reasons as stated in paragraph Nos. 2, 3 and 4 are the reasons on which the extension is sought.

We have perused the said application.

In that view of the matter, two months time is granted to decide the caste claim of the petitioner by way of a last chance with a clear understanding that no further time will be granted.
