C.A.W. No. 286/2026 in Writ Petition No.4585/2024 Coram : Registrar(Judicial) Dated : 18.03.2026 The civil application is filed by petitioner under Order V Rule 20 of the C.P.C., 1908 for substituted service upon Respondent No.2 by way of paper publication. It is stated in the application that the notice issued to the aforesaid respondent received back unserved for want of correct address. It is further stated in the application that the petitioner was not have new address of aforesaid respondent. Thus, the petitioner wants to serve aforesaid respondents by way of paper publication.

Hence, considering the reasons mentioned in the application, the same is allowed. Substituted service be effected upon respondent No.2 by publishing a notice in widely circulated local daily newspaper "Loksatta (Marathi)" in terms of Order V Rule 20 (1-A) of C.P.C., returnable within five weeks from the date of publication of notice.
