CORAM : ANIL L. PANSARE & NIVEDITA P. MEHTA, JJ. DATED : 6 th FEBRUARY, 2026 The learned Counsel for the petitioner has filed the instant application seeking modification of the order dated 23-01-2026. The order dated 23-01-2026 reads thus :

"Heard.

It appears that the appropriate remedy is to approach the Appellate Authority under Chapter V of the Finance Act, 1994. 3.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the Appellate Authority." 2.

The said order is modified by inserting paragraph 3 as under : "3.

The petitioner may file appeal within four weeks from today. Appeals filed thereafter shall be entertained, if filed, within limitation. In that event, time spent before this Court, shall be excluded as provided under Section 14 of the Limitation Act, 1963." 3.

Paragraph No.3 of the order dated 23-01-2026 stands renumbered as paragraph No.4.

The corrected order shall be uploaded upon making the above corrections.
