No. 408/2026 in Writ Petition No.2261/2024 Coram : Registrar(Judicial) Dated : 20.02.2026 The civil application is filed by petitioners under Order V Rule 20 of the C.P.C., 1908 for substituted service upon Respondent No. 1 by way of paper publication. It is stated in the application that the notice issued to the respondent No.1 received back unserved for want of correct address. It is further stated in the application that petitioners have taken every steps to serve the respondent No.1 by various mode. It is further stated in the application that respondent No.1 is avoiding service of notice. Thus, the petitioner want to serve Respondent No.1 by way of paper publication.

Hence, considering the reasons mentioned in the application, the same is allowed. Substituted service be effected upon respondent No.1 by publishing a notice in widely circulated local daily newspaper "Deshonnati" in terms of Order V Rule 20 (1-A) of C.P.C., returnable within five weeks from the date of publication of notice.
