C.A.W. No. 429/2026 in Writ Petition No.1466/2025 Coram : Registrar(Judicial) Dated : 10.03.2026 The civil application is filed by petitioner under Order V Rule 20 of the C.P.C., 1908 for substituted service upon legal heirs of deceased Respondent No.8 i.e.

proposed Respondent Nos. 8A and 8B by way of paper publication. It is stated in the application that the notice issued to the aforesaid respondents received back unserved with reason that no such person found in the given address. It is further stated in the application that petitioner has taken efforts to find correct address of aforesaid respondents. However, he failed to do so. Thus, the petitioner wants to serve aforesaid respondents by way of paper publication.

Hence, considering the reasons mentioned in the application, the same is allowed. Substituted service be effected upon aforesaid respondents by publishing a notice in widely circulated local daily newspaper in terms of Order V Rule 20 (1A) of C.P.C., returnable within five weeks from the date of publication of notice.
