Although by an Order dated 23.02.2026, this Court had directed issuance of notice to the legal representatives of the deceased petitioner, it is revealed that the legal representatives have already filed an application for bringing on record their names. 2.

It has to be noted that this application is in fact an application for substitution of names of legal representatives of the deceased petitioner.

In view of this, the compliance of Order dated 23.02.2026 is not required.

It is seen that the application is filed within a period of 90 days from the date of death of the petitioner. Thus, the civil application is allowed. Names of legal representatives of the petitioner are permitted to be brought on record by carrying out necessary amendment within a period of two weeks from today.
