SMT. M.S. JAWALKAR AND NANDESH S. DESHPANDE, JJ.

DATED : 16.04.2026 The Civil Application 750/2026 is an application seeking permission to amend the present petition, and Civil Application No. 916/2026 is an application for a direction to the petitioners to add the applicants therein as party respondents in the present writ petition.

2.

As far as Civil Application No. 750/2026 is concerned, the respondent Nos. 4 and 5 have no objection. 3.

The application is allowed.

4.

The amendment to be carried out within one working week from today.

(2) 917 caw 916-2026+1 5.

Civil Application No. 916/2026 is for the addition of parties. It is the contention of the learned Counsel for the applicants therein that the applicants are successful candidates whose names find a place in the seniority list. It is therefore their contention that they are a necessary party in the present petition.

6.

Shri Dharmadhikari, learned Counsel for the petitioner, however, opposes the contention and states that a substantive writ petition is already filed by some of the applicants therein for ventilating their grievances. However, we find that even though some of the applicants have filed a petition without the other applicants herein should go unrepresented, we allow the application.

7.

The petitioner is directed to add the applicants in civil application No. 916/2026 as party respondents in the present petition.

8.

The application is allowed.

9.

The said addition/amendment be carried out within one working week from today, and the amended copies be supplied to the other side.

10.

The respondents are free to file their affidavit in reply.

11.

To be heard along with Writ Petition No. 1369/2026.
