No. 2114/2024 in First Appeal St. No.2925/2024 Coram : Registrar(Judicial) Dated : 24.03.2026 The civil application is filed by appellant under Order V Rule 20 of the C.P.C., 1908 for substituted service upon Respondent No.5 by way of paper publication. It is contended that the notice issued to Respondent No.5 received back unserved with a reason that the noticee is not residing on given address. Further, it is stated that the appellant has no other mode available to secure the presence of Respondent No.5. Thus, the appellant wants to serve Respondent No.5 by way of paper publication.

Hence, considering the reasons mentioned in the application, the same is allowed. Substituted service be effected upon Respondent No.5 by publishing a notice in widely circulated local daily newspaper 'Sakal (Marathi)" in terms of Order V Rule 20 (1-A) of C.P.C., returnable within five weeks from the date of publication of notice.
