No.81/2022 in First Appeal St. No.24465/2019 Coram : Registrar(Judicial) Dated : 21.04.2026 The civil application is filed by appellant under Order V Rule 20 of the C.P.C., 1908 for substituted service upon Respondent No.7 by way of paper publication. It is contended that notice issued to respondent No.7 received back unserved. As per bailiff report, address of Respondent No.7 not comes within the jurisdiction of Chandurbazar, Amravati.
Appellant also contended that appellant tried to ascertain another address of the respondent No.7. Appellant not aware of any other address other than address mentioned in the cause title. Thus, the appellant wants to serve Respondent No.7 by way of paper publication.
Hence, considering the reasons mentioned in the application, the same is allowed. Substituted service be effected upon Respondent No.7 by publishing a notice in widely circulated local daily newspaper 'Navbharat(Hindi)", in terms of Order V Rule 20 (1-A) of C.P.C., returnable within five weeks from the date of publication of notice.
