By the present appeal, the appellant-insurance company is challenging the judgment and award dated 24/04/2025 passed in M.A.C.P. No.71/2022 by the learned Member, Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Yavatmal.

Civil Application [CAF] No.1908/2026:

On 9th January, 2026, this Court passed an order in Civil Application No.3182/2025 and stayed the effect, operation and execution of the impugned judgment and order subject to the appellant depositing the entire decretal amount with accrued interest within a period of eight weeks from the date of the order. However, the appellant failed to

56.fa.1126.25 2/2 deposit the said amount and filed the present application seeking extension of time/permission to deposit the entire amount of compensation with accrued interest.

On the grounds set out in the application, time till 08/05/2026 is granted to deposit the entire amount of compensation with accrued interest thereon with a clear understanding that in case the said amount is not deposited within the stipulated period, the same shall be recovered from the appellant with interest at the rate of 12% per annum from the date of the application till its realization. 03.
