No.544/2026 in Second Appeal No.304/2025 Coram : Registrar(Judicial) Dated : 30.04.2026 The civil application is filed by appellant under Order V Rule 20 of the C.P.C., 1908 for substituted service upon Respondent No.1 by way of paper publication. Notice issued respondent No.1 received back unserved with bailiff report that house of respondent no.1 is locked. It is further contended that further notices were issued to respondent No.1 by speed post, regular mode and also to the address of daughter of respondent No.1, however failed. Thus, the appellant wants to serve respondent No.1 by way of paper publication.

Hence, considering the reasons mentioned in the application, the same is allowed. Substituted service be effected upon Respondent No.1 by publishing a notice in widely circulated local daily newspaper 'Lokmat(Marathi)", Wardha Edition in terms of Order V Rule 20 (1-A) of C.P.C., returnable within five weeks from the date of publication of notice.
