No. 159/2026 in Family Court Appeal No.10/2023 Coram : Registrar(Judicial) Dated : 24.02.2026 The civil application is filed by appellant under Order V Rule 20 of the C.P.C., 1908 for substituted service upon Respondent Sole by way of paper publication. It is stated in the application that notice issued to the Respondent Sole received back unsserved for want of correct address. Further, it is stated in the application that the appellant has tried his level best to find out the address of Respondent Sole. However, he is unable to locate her. Thus, the appellant wants to serve Respondent by way of paper publication.

Hence, considering the reasons mentioned in the application, the same is allowed. Substituted service be effected upon Respondent by publishing a notice in widely circulated local daily newspaper 'Lokmat (Marathi)", in terms of Order V Rule 20 (1-A) of C.P.C., returnable within five weeks from the date of publication of notice.
