Leave to add Hon'ble Minister of State (Revenue) as party respondent no.7 is granted. Amendment be carried out forthwith. 3.

Shri D. P. Thakre, learned Additional Government Pleader waives service of notice on behalf of respondent nos. 1 to 4 and newly added respondent no.7.

Since the order proposed to be passed is innocuous, notice to the remaining respondents is dispensed with.

Considering the grievances raised in the present Public Interest Litigation, we are of the opinion that the respondent no.7 (newly added respondent) shall to re-consider the reliefs claimed in the PIL by treating the present Public Interest Litigation (PIL) as the representation made by the petitioner and decide the same within stipulated time.

Accordingly, we dispose of the PIL with a direction to the respondent no.7- the Hon'ble Minister, to decide the representation of

144-PIL-11-2026.odt 2 the petitioner after hearing the necessary parties, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of appearance of the petitioner before it. The petitioner shall appear before the respondent no.7-Hon'ble Minister on 26.02.2026 at 11.00 a.m. along with the copy of PIL as well as the copy of order passed today.

With these directions the public interest litigation is disposed of. No order as to costs.
