Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

Considering the reliefs sought in the Public Interest Litigation, we are of the opinion that the respondent no.1 shall consider the reliefs claimed in the petition by treating the present Public Interest Litigation (PIL) as the representation made by the petitioner and decide the same within stipulated time.

Accordingly, we dispose of the PIL with a direction to the respondent no.1-Collector, Chandrapur, to decide the representation of the petitioner after hearing the necessary parties, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of appearance of the petitioner before it. The petitioner shall appear before the respondent no.1 on 26.02.2026 at 11.00 a.m. along with the copy of PIL as well as the copy of order passed today.

With these directions the public interest litigation is disposed of. No order as to costs.
