Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

The petitioner who claims to be a social worker has approached this Court pointing out the illegalities in the matter of granting of approval to the teachers by the Education Officer- respondent No.4 without any valid staff approval and by violating the Rules and Regulations thereby affecting the money of tax payers.

Since the issue involved in the present Public Interest Litigation (PIL) is not yet adjudicated by the competent authority i.e., respondent No.2, we direct the respondent No.2 to treat the present PIL as a representation submitted by the petitioner for the reliefs as prayed therein. The respondent No.1 is directed to decide the aforesaid representation of the

126-PIL-15-2026.odt 2/2 petitioner within eight weeks from the date of receipt of order of this Court.

The respondent No.1 is also directed to consider the grounds raised in the memo of the PIL while taking such decision.

The petitioner undertakes to produce the copy of the order of this Court so also the copy of the present PIL before respondent No.3-Director of Education, Pune within a period of one week from today.

Respondent No.2- Director of Education is directed to take decision after granting opportunity of hearing to the petitioner so also the respondent No.7- Management and all other schools as such mentioned in the present PIL. 7.

The decision taken, be communicated to the petitioner within two weeks thereafter.

The PIL is disposed of.
