By this application, the applicants (original petitioners) are seeking grant of extension of time to the Debts Recovery TribunalI, Mumbai (DRT) for deciding the Interim Application No.2713 of 2025 filed by the petitioners in SA No. 65 of 2024. By an order dated 30th December 2025, a vacation Bench of this Court had disposed of the original writ petition, by granting time of three weeks for the DRT to decide the interim application. 2.
The learned counsel for the applicants submits that due to the reasons stated in the application, time was consumed before the DRT and therefore, the directions issued by this Court could
bipin prithiani 911-ia-823.26.doc not be complied with. It is specifically stated that no allegation is being made against any party, least of all the DRT, for failure in compliance with the directions of this Court. 3.
Having perused the contents of the application, we are convinced that in the interest of justice, extension of time can be granted to the DRT for disposing of the interim application filed on behalf of the applicants.

In view of the above, the application is allowed and accordingly, the DRT is granted extension of time by four weeks to decide the Interim Application No. 2713 of 2025 in SA No. 65 of 2024.
