A learned Single Judge by order dated 19th August 2025 has admitted these Writ Petitions and granted interim protection. The said order has been challenged by the Respondent by filing Special Leave Petition and by order dated 08th December 2025, the said Special Leave Petition has been allowed to be withdrawn with

liberty to approach the High Court seeking early disposal of the Writ Petition.

The Respondents in the Writ Petition have filed these Interim Applications seeking certain prayers which are contrary to the interim relief granted by a learned Single Judge by order dated 19th August 2025 as confirmed by the Supreme Court by order dated 08th December 2025.

In view of this position Ms. Bhat, learned Counsel appearing for the Applicants i.e. Original Respondents, states that the Applicants are not pressing Prayer Clause (a) and (b) of the Interim Application. The Prayer Clause (c) of the Interim Application is fixing the date of hearing of the Writ Petition pursuant to the liberty granted by Supreme Court by order dated 08th December 2025.

As the Supreme Court has granted liberty to approach the High Court seeking early disposal of the Writ Petition and in the facts and circumstances, the hearing of the Writ Petitions are expedited.

The Writ Petitions be listed for final hearing on 30th March 2026 at 03:00 p.m..
