Interim Application No. 1502 of 2026 seeks restoration of the Petition, which was dismissed for want of prosecution on 6/01/2026, as none represented the Petitioner.

Heard the counsel for the Applicant and perused the application. The counsel states that the non-appearance of the Advocate on the said date was neither deliberate nor intentional and, in absence of the counsel, the Petition was dismissed. She would place reliance upon the order passed in Petitions which involve a similar issue and therefore seeks restoration of the Writ Petition and extending the said order to the present petition also. On hearing the counsel for the Applicant and being satisfied with the bona fides of the justification offered, the Interim Application is made absolute in terms of prayer clause (a). Upon the Petition having been restored, it is directed to be listed for consideration on 17/03/2026.
