By this interim application, the applicant has prayed for condonation of delay of 74 days in filing the aforesaid review petition. 2.

At the outset, learned counsel for the applicant/petitioner submitted that the applicant had approached the Supreme Court in the proceedings of Special Leave Petition (Civil) Diary No. 49996 of 2025, assailing the order dated 14 July 2025 passed by this Court on the aforesaid writ petition. The said Special Leave Petition was permitted to be withdrawn by an order dated 05 December 2025, with liberty to the applicant/petitioner to approach this Court by filing a review petition.

Accordingly, we have heard learned counsel for the parties on this interim application. We have also perused the averments as made in the memo of the application. In our opinion, the delay has been appropriately explained. Thus, in the interest of justice, we are inclined to condone the delay in filing the aforesaid review petition.
