This application is filed to restore the WP/4032/2025 which came to be disposed, for want of prosecution, as none had appeared for the petitioner on 20th January, 2026. 3.

Ms. Kadu-Thakur, the learned Counsel for the Applicant/Petitioner invites attention of the Court to an order dated 08th December, 2025 whereby the petition was directed to be notified on 19th January, 2026. However, the petition was listed on 20th January, 2026, and came to be disposed for want of prosecution, as none had appeared for the petitioner on that day.

The petition was yet to be heard on the point of admission when the Petition came to be dismissed for want of prosecution. 5.

In view of the above and for the reasons assigned in the application, and to advance the cause of substantive justice, the application stands allowed.

The order dated 20th January, 2026 dismissing the WP/4032/2025, for non-prosecution, stands recalled. 7.

The Writ Petition No. 4032/2025 stands restored to the file.

The Interim Application stands disposed.
