By this application, the applicant (petitioner) is seeking permission to amend the writ petition in terms of the proposed amendment incorporated in the body of the application. 2.

The learned counsel for respondent No.1 bank has tendered an affidavit in reply in this application. The same is taken on record. 3.

Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the respondent No.1 bank, we find that despite the fact that the respondent No.1 is opposing the prayer made in the present application, we find that the proposed amendment can be granted as it, inter alia, seeks to place on record certain subsequent developments, which are germane to the issues that arise in the writ petition.

In any case, allowing the proposed amendment will not prejudice the respondents, including the respondent No.1 bank as the respondents would be entitled to contest the issues sought to be raised and the reliefs sought to be added by way of amendment.

In view of the above, the application is allowed in terms of prayer clause (a). Amendment be carried out on or before 04.05.2026. 6.
