2026.04.24 13:46:40 +0530 Petitioner is seeking permission to amend the Writ Petition by adding Principal Secretary, Finance Department (Public Section Undertakings), Mantralaya, Mumbai as Respondent No. 4. Further, 1/3
amendment has been sought with regard to incorporation of additional prayers for revision and re-fixation of pension, grant of benefits of the 6th and 7th Pay Commission, dearness allowance and arrears from June 2019 onwards.

The Applicant has stated that the amendment sought is necessary in view of Finance Department exercising financial control, supervisory authority and sanctioning powers in respect of the Public Sector Undertakings, including approval of pay scales, pension fixation, dearness allowance and retirement benefits. Hence, it would be necessary to obtain their approval.

The learned Counsel for the Respondent Nos. 2 and 3 formally objects to the reliefs sought for being granted. 4.
Considering that this is a pre-admission amendment and in view of the Petitioner seeking joinder of Principal Secretary, Finance Department (Public Section Undertakings), Mantralaya, Mumbai for effective determination of this Petition as well as additional prayers consequential to the averments sought, we allow the Petitioner to amend the Writ Petition.

Accordingly, the Petitioner shall amend the Writ Petition in accordance with Schedule at Exh.A to the Interim Application within a period of one week from the date of this order. Reverification is dispensed with. 6.
The amended Writ Petition shall be served by the Petitioner on the Respondents including newly added Respondent No.4 and an Affidavit of Service to that effect shall be filed prior to the next date.

Interim Application is accordingly disposed of. No order as to costs.
