By this Interim Application, the Applicants seek permission to be joined as a party Petitioners in the above Writ Petition. The Applicant has also sought modification of the order dated 6 April 2026, by permitting the Applicants and all other similarly situated students to fill up the examination form and appear for the LL.B. examination, on such terms and conditions as this Court may deem fit.

The Applicants have not joined the Petitioners in filing the above Petition. Reliance has been placed on the order passed by the Division Bench of this Court dated 25 November 2025, wherein the Division Bench considered the fact that more than 500 students of Respondent No. 2 -

University had not approached the Court. Accordingly, the Division Bench requested the Respondent-University to permit such students to appear for the examination, as they are similarly situated to the Petitioners, and it would be unfair to deprive them of the same benefit. 3.

In our order dated 6 April 2026, while granting permission to the Petitioners in the above Writ Petition as well as in Writ Petition No. 1787 of 2025 to fill up the examination forms for appearing in the final examination commencing from 17 April 2026, such permission was made subject to the outcome of these Petitions as well as the final determination of the issues (carry on). It was also made clear that the ad-interim order would apply to the present Applicants/Petitioners in both the Writ Petitions. 4.

Considering that the Applicants have filed the present Interim Application seeking impleadment as party Petitioners, as well as the observations of the Division Bench of this Court in its order dated 25 November 2025, particularly paragraph 16 thereof, we are inclined to pass a similar order. Accordingly, the Applicants are permitted, upon impleadment, to fill up the examination forms and appear for the final LL.B. examination scheduled to commence from 17 April 2026. 5.

With regard to prayer clause (B) of the Interim Application, which seeks permission for all other students to fill up the examination forms and appear for the aforesaid examination. Learned counsel appearing for Respondent No. 2 - University has sought time to take instructions.

Accordingly, we stand over the matter to 3:00 p.m. today to enable the Respondent-University to obtain instructions. At 3:00 P.M :- 7.

When the matter was called out at 3:00 p.m., learned counsel appearing for Respondent No. 2 - University informed this Court that Respondent No. 2 is not agreeable to this order being applied to those students who are not before this Court, i.e., those who are neither present Applicants nor have filed the present petition. 8.

Accordingly we restrict this order to the present Applicants. 9.

The Applicants are permitted to be impleaded in the above Writ Petition No. 17486 of 2025 and the Petitioners shall carry out the amendment by joining the Applicants as party petitioners. 10.

The order dated 6 April 2026 is accordingly modified by permitting the Applicants herein to fill up the examination forms and appear for the final year examination scheduled to commence from 17 April 2026. This would be subject to the outcome of this petition or further orders of this Court.

Interim Application is disposed of in the above terms. No order as to costs.
