By this application, the petitioners seek to amend the petition as per the proposed amendment stated in the application at paragraph 5. 2.

This Court had issued notice in Writ Petition on 30/03/2026. The respondents are yet to file their reply affidavits. 3.

We find that the proposed amendment does not change the nature of the petition in any manner, and since the petition is still at a preliminary stage, the amendment can be granted and respondents can also be granted opportunity to respond to the amended pleadings. 4.

In view of the above, the Interim Application is allowed. varsha

The amendment shall be carried out within one week from today. 6.

The amended papers shall be served upon the respondents within one week thereafter.

The respondents shall file their reply affidavits to the amended petition within three weeks from the date of service of the amended petition.
