Nargolkar, learned counsel appearing for the Petitioners submits that in view of the amendments carried out under the Goa, Daman and Diu Registration of Tourist Trade Act, 1982, the Petition can be worked out by granting leave to the Petitioners to file fresh application seeking registration under the Digitally signed by PRIYA RAJESH SOPARKAR Date:

In view of the request made by the Petitioners' counsel, we dispose of the Writ Petition, by granting a week's time to the Petitioners to make a fresh application for registration under the amended provisions of the Act of 1982.

If such an application is made within a week, the same be considered and appropriate order be passed on the same within two weeks thereafter.

We make it clear that the Petitioners would also be entitled to make a request for restoration of the electricity supply at the instructions of the Respondent No.2, while making an application for registration, which prayer will also be considered in accordance with law.

All contentions of the contested parties are kept open. 6.

In view of the disposal of the Writ Petition, the Interim Application stands disposed of.
