Heard learned counsel for the appellant/applicant. 2.
In appeal challenging the conviction awarded under Sections 8 and 12 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012, a sentence of twenty years is imposed and delay in filing the appeal of 424 days is caused.

Considering the argument that the applicant is behind the bar and sentence imposed upon him is of twenty years and the application is not seriously opposed either by learned APP or learned counsel for the victim, delay is condoned.
