Criminal Application No.220/2021 is presented by the applicant for quashment of F.I.R. bearing Crime No.220/2021, registered with Newasa Police Station, District Ahilyanagar for the offence punishable under Section 354 of the Indian Penal Code and the consequential Charge Sheet bearing R.C.C. No.567/2022, pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Newasa, District Ahilyanagar, whereas Criminal Application No.407/2026 is presented by the applicants for quashment of F.I.R. bearing Crime No.906/2025, registered with Newasa Police Station, District Ahilyanagar for the offences punishable under Sections 74, 75, 76, 118(1), 115(2), 351(2), 352, 3(5) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and the consequential Charge Sheet bearing R.C.C. No.686/2025, pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Newasa, District Ahilyanagar.

Learned counsel for the applicants in both the applications submit that, now the litigating sides in both the applications have arrived at a compromise and they have presented an affidavit on behalf of respondent No.2 in both the

applications, stating that, parties are relatives and the dispute between the parties is of matrimonial in nature. The F.I.R. was lodged by the complainant due to pressure by her parents. Now, both the complainant and her husband have decided to reside separately and at a distinct place from her in-laws and therefore, have amicably settled the matter. Now, in order to maintain cordial and peaceful relations, the respondent No.2 has given consent to quash the proceedings.

In view of the settlement of dispute between the parties, and in view the affidavits filed by the complainant, the F.I.Rs. And the further proceedings deserves to be quashed. Hence the order :
O R D E R
(i) Both the Criminal Applications are allowed.
(ii) F.I.R. bearing Crime No.220/2021, registered with Newasa Police Station, District Ahilyanagar for the offence punishable under Section 354 of the Indian Penal Code and the consequential Charge Sheet bearing R.C.C. No.567/2022, pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Newasa, District Ahilyanagar are quashed subject to costs of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) to be paid to the High Court Legal Services

(iii) F.I.R. bearing Crime No.906/2025, registered with Newasa Police Station, District Ahilyanagar for the offences punishable under Sections 74, 75, 76, 118(1), 115(2), 351(2), 352, 3(5) of the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and the consequential Charge Sheet bearing R.C.C. No.686/2025, pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Newasa, District Ahilyanagar are quashed subject to costs of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) to be paid to the Library of Government Pleader's Office, High Court, Bench at Aurangabad within a period of eight weeks from today.
