The applicant seeks quashment of the FIR in crime no.340 of 2025 registered with Kopargaon Rural Police Station, Dist. Ahmednagar for the offences punishable under sections 109, 118(1), 126(2), 115(2), 352, 351(2) of BNS, 2023. 2.

Learned counsel appearing for applicant submits that there is civil dispute between the parties and therefore, applicant has been falsely implicated in the crime. Perusal of the FIR shows that on 8.12.2025 there was quarrel between parties. Applicant was holding iron rod and he inflicted blows on informant and others. Prima facie, there is sufficient material indicating involvement of applicant in commission of offence. Averments in FIR shows that triable case is made out.

In that view of the matter, application for quashing of the FIR cannot be entertained. Hence, application is rejected. ( S. G. CHAPALGAONKAR, J. ) ...
