The application is filed for conditions of delay in filing the application for restoration of the writ petition, which was disposed of vide order dated 19.12.2025 on the ground that the period of externment as stipulated in the impugned order dated 19.12.2025, had itself expired.

For the reasons stated in the application, the delay is condoned. However, permission for restoration, if allowed, would amount review of the order dated 19.12.2025. The provision of Section 362 of Cr.P.C./403 of BNSS specifically prohibits the criminal court to review its own order. In view of the prohibition contained under Section 362 of Cr.P.C./403 of BNSS, the prayer for restoration of the writ petition, which was disposed of vide order dated 19.12.2025 is hereby rejected.
