The learned A.P.P. submits that, initially the F.I.R. was registered with City Chowk Police Station, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and some investigation was carried out. Thereafter, it was found that cause of action for the offence had arisen in the jurisdiction of Pundliknagar Police Station, and therefore, with permission of the Dy. Superintendent of Police, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, now the crime has been registered in the Pundliknagar Police Station recently on 05.03.2026 and investigation is going on.

Under such circumstances, the purpose of filing this Writ Petition appears to be served, and therefore, the petition stands disposed of.
