After hearing for sometime, the learned Counsel for the Petitioners on instructions, seeks liberty to withdraw the petition as this Court was not inclined to grant any relief against rejection of the stay application.

The Criminal Writ Petition stands disposed of as withdrawn. 4.

However, taking into consideration that the matter pertains to the interim custody of the two children, the Appellate Court is requested to make an endeavour to decide the appeal expeditiously, and in any case not beyond a period of one year. The appeal shall be decided on its own merits, without being influenced by the present order.
