Learned APP, on instructions, makes a statement that in respect of application dated 08.09.2025 filed by the petitioner with concerned District Collector, Nanded, a report from the Commissioner of Police, Nanded is required and thereafter the application can be decided on its own merit. She further added that at least 10 weeks are required for such process. 3.

However, according to learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner is sports person and needs certain time for practice after issuance of Arms Licence for purchase of two numbers of non-prohibited bore weapons. Therefore, we deem it appropriate to direct respondent No.3 to complete the entire

(2) 917 Cri.WP-412.2026.odt process for issuance of Arms Licence to the petitioner as claimed, as early as possible and preferably within a period of five weeks from the date of this order.
