The Petitioner is a practicing Advocate and appeared before the learned Joint Charity Commissioner, Kolhapur, on several occasions. It appears that the Joint Charity Commissioner had lodged a complaint, regarding the Petitioner's misbehavior, to the Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa. Even it appears that police action was initiated, pursuant to which the Petitioner had given an undertaking before the police authorities that he would not appear in office of the Joint Charity Commissioner. The Petitioner is present before us. However, he has expressed remorse over his conduct. He makes a statement that he will maintain decorum of the office of Joint Charity Commissioner. He, therefore, urges that he be permitted to appear before the office of the Joint Charity Commissioner in his professional capacity.

It is informed across the Bar that the Petitioner has tendered an apology, on the basis of which the complaint made to the Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa has now been disposed of.

We have perused the complaint made by the Joint Charity Commissioner. Since the Petitioner has expressed remorse over his conduct and has undertaken to maintain good behavior, he can/may appear before the office of the Joint Charity Commissioner, in his professional capacity for the purpose of official and judicial proceedings. 6.
