The petitioner has filed the present petition seeking a writ of Habeas Corpus.

According to the petitioner, his brother namely Rahul Ganesh Rathod and mother Kamlabai Ganesh Rathod have been held in illegal custody by respondent Nos. 4 and 5. This matter was mentioned before us on 26th March 2026 and immediately in view of the urgency, we granted production and the matter was placed on production board. 3.

On 26th March 2026, the following order has been passed by this Court.

"1.

Not on board. Upon mentioning, taken on production Uday S. Jagtap 1 of

925-151-2026-Cri.WP=.doc board.

2.

Mr. Naik, learned AGP for respondent No.1, states that the brother of the petitioner, namely Rahul Ganesh Rathod, and the mother of the petitioner, namely Kamlabai Ganesh Rathod, were detained by respondent Nos.4 and 5 and have since been released from their custody by the police. He further submits that the said persons shall remain present before this Court tomorrow.

Stand over to 27th March 2026."

Thus, on 26th March 2026 said Rahul Ganesh Rathod and Kamlabai Ganesh Rathod, who were detained by respondent Nos.4 and 5, have been released from the custody of the respondent Nos. 4 and 5 by the Police and Police have also filed F.I.R. against respondent Nos. 4 and 5. 5.

Today, both Rahul Ganesh Rathod and Kamlabai Ganesh Rathod are personally present in Court. Accordingly, nothing survives in the petition.

The Writ Petition stands disposed of.

However, the petitioner as also Rahul Ganesh Rathod and Kamlabai Ganesh Rathod are at liberty to file appropriate proceedings against the respondent nos.4 and 5. All contentions in that behalf are expressly kept open.
