The challenge in this Petition is to an order passed by the Special Executive Magistrate and Deputy Commissioner of Police, Zone VII, Mumbai, whereby in exercise of the powers contained in Section 163(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, the Petitioner was restrained from residing within the local limits of Ghatkopar Police Station during the period 5 January 2026 to 16 January 2026.

Since the said period has already elapsed, nothing survives in the Petition.

The Writ Petition, thus, stands disposed.
