Heard Mr. Rajepandhare, learned counsel for the petitioner, and Mr. Shalgaonkar, learned APP for the respondents-State. 2.
By the present writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has sought relief of habeas corpus on the ground that the petitioner is in illegal custody. On an earlier date, Mr. Rajepandhare, learned counsel for the petitioner, raised the contention that the petitioner has been kept in custody without any detention order. adn

Thus, a copy of the said detention order has been given to the petitioner, and an additional copy of the said detention order has been given to the learned counsel for the petitioner. Accordingly, nothing survives in the writ petition and the same is disposed of.

However, it is clarified that the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the detention order dated 1st August 2025 by filing appropriate proceedings.
